PORTOBELLO OBTAINS 60% OF ASSERTIVENESS IN PROCESSES AFTER ADOPTING FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS OF NEXXERA

Domestic leader in producing ceramics centralizes financial management and ensures agility and high performance

São Paulo, June 11, 2010 – To handle a growing demand and focusing on expanding its business, Portobello, pioneer and leader in the production of ceramics in Brazil, needed to adopt financial solutions which executed the interface with more than 30 different banks of its vendors, to guarantee more agility. With this objective the company sought a consultancy which had a qualified know-how in the sector and Nexxera, provider of information technology (IT) services, was the company selected for implementing the project of financial solutions.

The scope encompasses all the modules of the platform developed by Nexxera for convergence of information, the AEN (Electronic Business Environment). The solution administers all the financial routines, receipt and collection, bank statements, accounts receivable and payments. “Nexxera had differentials to handle the particularities of the segment in which we perform, as well as an extensive knowledge and proven experience with features indispensable for supporting our business processes”, comments the Portobello IT Manager, Toni Prado.

Also according to the executive, with a reliable technological structure, furnished by the provider, the ceramics company reduced from 30 to 4 hours all the commercial processing, which includes from the goods output flow until the receipt by the customer, guaranteeing facility of communication and security with vendors, customers and banks.
